about me
From the very childhood, my passion for the game of basketball has been very strong. I have spent most of my adult life working as a professional basketball manager in the “Basketball Land” of Lithuania. Winning my first european cup at the age of 24, have defined my path in life. I have earned my BA in international busiess from Tallinn’s (CIUE), followed by multiple masters training programs internationally. My source of strenght and inspiration are my two daughter, Atene and Ona. Besides basketball, I love reading, theatre, jazz music and cooking.

Presidential Award Cerimony
It was a great privilege to receive the Order of Merit for Lithuania from the president of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus, for the service and the achievements achieved with the BG Lietuvos Rytas.
Meeting with Jordi Bertomeu
As the BC Lietuvos Rytas general manager, it has enabled me to meet with the top basketball people in the European basketball scene. Having the meeting with Euroleague’s boss was an incredible experience.

In 2005 first international trophy for the city of Vilnius and Lietuvos Rytas club.
In 2007, another great European cup compain where Lietuvos rytas reched its second final losing to all mighty Real Madrid in highly competitive match in a sellout Charleroi arena with atleast 3000 lithuanian fans in attendance.
2009 was another exceptional year, where Lietuvos rytas made history once again by making it to final hosted by italian city of Turin.
The Underdogs Lietuvos Rytas, with a budget of 2.2 million euros defeated Khimki Moscow region (budget 40 million) in one of the most iconic european basketball encounters.
Development of Ghana National Basketball Strategy
The Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) and the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LBF) have commenced a process to develop a national basketball strategy for the country.
The strategy was aimed to lead to the development of talents from the tertiary level and the establishment of a national basketball team.
